Billionaires Do Not Prefer Blondes: They Prefer Brunettes

Brunette females have more chances to get married to rich men, in contrast to blonde women. The world famous American internet company – Lycos made such conclusion after analyzing tastes of the most famous and rich 100 people all over the globe. Finally, the main prize (hearts of the richest men) won not blondes, but brunettes.

The study shows that 78% of the most well-to-do representatives of the strong sex prefer to live with brunette ladies: 62% choose brown-haired females, 16% - dark haired women. Only 22% of well-to-do males choose blonde females for long-time relationship. The most interesting, exiting and strange fact is that no one from 100 rich men didn’t choose redhead women.

The main reason of Lycos research was the nearest wedding of the French president Sarkozy with charming, lovely brunette model. Sam Kayum, director of Lycos who commissioned the research said: “It begs the question whether Carla Bruni would now be the first lady of France if she was a blonde. Perhaps Sarkozy felt that, as a brunette, Bruni would be taken more seriously by the voting public.”

A few years ago in UK took place the same research but among less well-to-do people. It showed that more than half of UK’s citizens wanted to date brunette women and only 20% preferred blondes. Research said that the epoch of Merlin Monroe is finished, and now it’s dark haired females’ time. Blonde women, of course, can be wives of billionaires, but more often they are girlfriends, hiring escorts, high class companions, guides or lovers.

Scientists have found the fact that when men meet blonde women they really do have a “blonde moment”; that their mental performance drops, apparently because they believe they are dealing with someone less intelligent. Others researches used to say that there is no intercommunication between hair color and intelligence. There are a lot of well-to do and highly intellectual blondes, as well as brunettes, for example: Susan Greenfield is an Oxford fair haired professor of pharmacology and director of the Royal Institution, the blonde actress Joanna Lumley is a noted environmentalist and a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

“There are two sexes in this world: blonde and brunette. Brunettes are like me: dashing, adventurous, strong and all that sort of thing. Blondes are like you: beautiful, delicate, weak, nervous and simply adorable. Hair color, in case you are confused about that point, has absolutely nothing to do with it.” Alice Clarke Marshall
